Stay independent

Mr Kalanick and Mr Green , I don't want to be your employee and hence seek no commitment of health care benefits or anything related to being an employee.
I intend to be independent and that's the reason why I chose to resign from a decently paying job  to start doing the ride sharing gig as an "all time" job. But here's the thing, just like you I am business minded and would respect you if you could help us generate more business. The recent fare cuts have not helped, some may call it "seasonal" fares(its over btw), but the reality is my business hasn't increased only the hours put in have..
The other issue is that you have been trying to recruit more drivers( esp Mr Kalanick) , this has only resulted in your increase in business and not mine. By doing this you are also compromising the quality of service provided. Many riders in the recent past have complaints, the most standard being disgruntled drivers and cancellations.
If my two cents are worth any to you, you need to figure out a way to increase revenues for your partners with innovative product offerings and not just by power driver bonuses.

Knowing Latvia

The best perk of the work I do is meeting great people, I get to know different cultures, sports they love and other traditional stuff.  More than what I learnt in my 16 years in another profession!

I drove this guy the other day, he had spent many years in Latvia   Well you can look up Latvia on Google. Its Bath houses, love for ICE hockey and a current NBA sensation for the NY Knicks :). The most important lesson learnt however is how a country that was annexed by a certain powerful neighbor refused to let its own culture get diluted and still maintains the traditions and culture of its own.
Will I travel to Latvia? I don't know. But I certainly want to find out why Riga is one of the most expensive properties in Monopoly!

Do you Uber full time?

I have been a ride-share driver for almost 2 years now. It was a great option to utilize my free time and pay for Golf and booze. ( ended up spending way more !)
Recently I decided to take a break in "full time " employment and begin "all time" work . I have been using the "Uber"  and "Lyft" "technology" platforms to make "high"ends meet in the over populated, extremely expensive Bay Area. Being over populated helps as there is very less downtime during peak hours (surge !surge!)
The best part of this work is that you get to meet many different people every day, many colors as I love to call them. Imagine having multiple Rainbows in your car on a single day!

So do I Uber/Lyft full time? No, I do it all time!
